Are your beliefs holding you back?

What Beliefs do you hold about yourself?

“I’m not good enough”

“I’ll never have that”

“He/ She is way out of my league”

“I can’t do it”

“Maybe it’s not meant to be”

As a trainer/ coach, these are some of the beliefs I come across quite regularly in my group and PT sessions. In fact, I know I’ve used one or two of them in my past
Here is a simple exercise that can quickly change someone’s beliefs into more positive and uplifting ones
Think about what it is you want to achieve or outcome you desire. Think about the beliefs you have about that outcome. If they are negative, turn them into positive ones. Now, if you think of that positive belief as a table top, think of 4 reasons ( table legs ) on why you should be or do xyz. This will be help you positive belief become a conviction, and when it is a conviction, it’s difficult to be challenged by yourself or anyone else

For example, “I am good enough” ( table top ). 4 reasons ( table legs ), I have a successful business, I am a loyal and honest person, I am intelligent and I am caring etc. This can help uplift your mood and therefore create motivation towards your desired goal/ outcome
If you have a negative belief ( table top ), it can usually be quite difficult to find 4 reasons ( table legs ), to support it, so it’s easier to focus on the positive #personaltrainerliverpool #liverpoolpersonaltrainer #boxerciseliverpool #liverpoolboxercise
Hope this helps
