On Monday, my car went in for its mot
It failed ( to my surprise )
Anyway, I had to get one or two things for it
I had 3 options:
Option 1 was £45
Option 2 was £65
Option 3 was £90 ( Mercedes part )
Years ago, I probably would have gone for the cheapest part, but for this instance. I chose the most expensive
Reasons, it was a Mercedes part and came with a guarantee
Therefore, if I get any messing with it, I’ll just take it back and get it swapped
If I got the cheaper option,
No guarantee, and if something happened with it, I’d have to replace it. Which leads to a bit of messing about and time being wasted
It’s like exercise classes
People look for the ‘quick fix’ or the ‘cheapest option’
And it takes them no further to where they want to be
In fact, over time, it probably costs them more money
