Hit a plateau?

How are you? 
Have you hit a plateau recently on your journey to losing weight? 
Its only natural that plateaus can happen, Sometimes they can last up to 3 weeks 
While doing some exercise and watching what we eat, can all help us lose some weight or fat, this will only last for so long 
3 Key points 

A Plateau can really effect your motivation towards your weight loss goal, so here’s 2 key points that can help you re boot your progress:

1. Protein. Increasing your protein intake, can have a massive effect in helping you lose weight. When you take in more protein, your body has to work harder to break it down, therefore, helping you burn more calories

2. Weight train. Following a weight training program will help you increase your muscle tone. As you get an increase in muscle, your body then has to work harder to preserve it therefore, helping you burn more calories while at rest and helping your metabolism speed up 

3. Focus on inch loss, rather than weight loss. Using scales can be a massive de motivator. Take your measurements too, as sometimes you will find that you aren’t losing weight, but losing inches 
New Weight Training Program: £150 for 6 weeks [1 place available]

Talking of weight training, this week we are due to start a new 6 week program. Each weight training program lasts 6 weeks before it is changed. Initially at the start of a new program, you will feel sore after the first couple of sessions. After 3/4 weeks, your body will acclimatise to this. Although minor changes are made to the program each week ( weight, reps etc ), you still wont get the same response as you did when you started the new program, so after 6 weeks, the program is then changed. Over the next 6 weeks, we will go back to focusing on upper body. 

As a complete one off, I am offering 1 place on my weight training course, and giving that person the chance to pay for just 6 weeks ( usually people sign up for 3 and 6 months now ), which is £150. This will include 2 sessions of weights a week and all the Boxercise sessions. The complete package in helping you to get fitter, slimmer and feeling more confident this Summer. The weight training sessions are held at Proflex Gym, Wood street, Garston L19 2LU, and are on of a Monday, 10am and 8pm, Wednesday 10am, Thursday 6-7, 7-8 and 8-9pm and Friday morning 10am.
