As from next week, Monday 31st, I will be running some private, group weight training sessions
These will be held at Proflex Gym, wood street, Garston village, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 10 – 11am
Its 21 years now since I set up in business as a personal trainer and weight training has always been the backbone of my training programs
Two years ago, I started teaching one private group weight training session, once a week and since then, the interest in the sessions has massively grown. There’s now 4 sessions on per week, with all the women who attend my boxercise sessions, starting to do weights too
What weight training will do, is help you build muscle tone. The more muscle you build, the faster your metabolism will be, therefore contributing towards your body fat % coming down
So certainly, if your looking to change the shape of your body, weight training will help you do that
That’s not to say you’ll look as if you’ll be carrying to rolls of carpet underneath your arms. Far from it
The clients who have attended these sessions have massively benefitted from them, and certainly for me, a combination of weight training and boxing, is the best formula for helping you achieve your fitness goals
Each session will be for 2 – 6 people max, and therefore at the moment, I will only be taking on 6 new people
If you’ve not used weights before, then that’s no problem. I will teach you all the basics
We will probably start off with a basic program, focusing on all the major body parts of the body.
Once you have completed the first 6 weeks, i will then change the program
All sessions will be ran at a pace you are comfortable with
