Fat tax on clothing

The sugar tax, or ‘fat tax’ theme of my messages, accidentally continues today

Due to recent reports in the media, there’s suggestions that some high street retail shops ( New look being the main one that’s been reported ), are charging a fat tax on their clothing

It’s been reported that any clothing that’s size 18 and above, will be more expensive than the smaller sizes

The average size now for a woman in the UK is a 16

A ‘fat tax’ on clothing isn’t set in stone yet, but it may come about

Tam Fry, who is chairman of the national obesity forum, said higher price tags for plus size clothing is a ‘good incentive’ for women to stay below a size 18

What do you think? Would you be happy paying more for bigger sized clothing?

Paul 🙂
