I was naughty last night I’m afraid.
A couple of days ago, I measured my body fat %, which was 14% ( highest its been for a while ).
So, I set myself a target of drinking no alcohol and having no chocolate, until February. However, I failed last night. The first Saturday night of the year. I had 2 and a half pints of estrella and a 200g of Whole nut.
The only treats I’ve had this week.
Usually of a weekend, I would have 3 pints of beer and chocolate, so I’m down a little bit.
I did however go for a run this morning around Sefton park.
Getting your Body Fat% down
I probably do need to drop a bit of body fat. In the fast, its always been around 8-10%. The problem with me though is that I probably need to do more cardio. I already train 6 times a week, and weight training is my first love. I then do 2/3 martial arts classes, so doing more cardio tends to get put on the back burner.
But, I’m focused on getting it down a bit by the end of the month, so I will aim to do more cardio over the next few weeks
A couple of months ago, I did start weighing my food, in order to work out how many calories I was taking in daily. This is an approach that I’m going to start implementing in the classes, in order to help my clients get even better results
I want to educate my clients more and take more of a hands on approach with what they are eating
Seminar Next Saturday – Protein/ Carbs/ Fats
Next Saturday, after the Boxercise session, I will be doing another seminar about Protein/ Carbs/ Fats – where do they come from, when we should have them, etc. As a result of this, hopefully you will start being able to put your own eating plan in place. The seminar will start at 11am, Liverpool Cricket Club, Aigburth road
