A couple of weeks ago, I was putting some of my references that I’ve received off clients, into a file ( as I like to collect them ).
I’m going to share one of those references with you this morning if that’s ok.
I received it from a client who I used to train a couple of years ago. The client led a very sedentary life style, also smoking a lot and not doing any exercise. I started training her on a one to one basis and she was only doing one session a week with me. The session were focused around weight training and boxing.
Here’s what she said about me:
“When I started working with Paul, I would have to say I had lived a pretty sedentary life and was around 8 stone overweight.
When we started working together, it was a slow start which was down to me, thinking one days exercise was enough, but Paul continued to encourage me and helped me with my diet. Gradually I could see some changes in both my body and my attitude. I joined a gym and Paul helped me plan some workouts to do on the days I was not working with him and the changes were now coming a bit quicker.
Now after a couple of years, I am not far from my goal weight, have completed a couple of 5k, 10k races and most recently completed the Mens health survival of the fittest.
Most importantly I’m enjoying life a lot more. I would not have got to this point without the support and encouragement I received from Paul. He is a excellent trainer and now a good friend”
The client who wrote this, has massively changed her life since I first met her. I trained her for about 2 years. Towards the end of the relationship, she’d started doing triathlons and is now well into them. She literally did lead a sedentary life when we met. After a period, she started cycling to work ( about 6 miles ) and started preparing her meals. She even packed in smoking and went travelling on her own.
These results are pretty normal, if you are prepared to listen to me and you have the desire to move on to better things in your life.
