Residential Training Weekend 2017

This years Residential Training Weekend away, will take place in Snowdonia, 29th September to 1st October. 
The purpose of the training weekend away, is to provide team building, and also activities that will take you out of your comfort zone, which will then give you renewed confidence towards your ‘end of year’ goals 
This is the 3rd year I have done this now, and the previous 2 years have been great. Its the first time I am holding in in Snowdonia. 
Timetable of events: 

Friday 29th. 

We will be arriving on Friday evening, and staying at the ‘Vagabonds’ Bunkhouse, Betws Y Coed. We will have an evening meal together and a few drinks ( nothing too heavy ) 
Saturday 30th. 

This will be an early start, as we will be spending the day going up and down Mount Snowdon. This will take approx 8 hours, and will be challenging. We will be spending the night having an evening meal together 
Sunday 1st October 

This will be an early start again, as we will be doing 2 events, Gorge walking and Abseiling. This day will probably be a bit more challenging than the previous day. Once we have completed the activities, we will then have a meal together before heading home 
Cost of the Weekend 

The cost is £150 which includes accomadation, breakfast and activities. The deadline to pay for the event is Friday 30th June. You can in installments if it is better for you. My advice would be to pay a small deposit to secure your place first. The cost of the training weekend will go up to £200 after the 30th June ( if there are places left ) . 
Clothing 

Casual wear is fine for Friday and Saturday evening, otherwise, you will need layers for the Saturday and Sunday. I’m guessing we might wear wet suits on the Sunday,and might be in them all day ( from my experience ) . These will be provided. If we don’t need them, then please wear outdoor clothing. Footwear – my advice would be to use walking boots, if you have them, for both days. Also have some spare towels available 
Food/ Drinks / Alcohol 

On the Saturday and Sunday, we will probably need some snacks, as we will be out and about. I’ll probably take some sandwiches, protein bars, protein drinks etc to snack on, throughout the days. We will need water and hydration drinks for both days. If you have a camelpack, then please bring that. 
Alcohol – I would recommend a light alcohol intake over the weekend. I cant stop people bringing bottles of spirits etc, however, with the style of weekend we are doing, and the events we are taking part in, getting up with a hangover, wouldn’t be the best state to face them in. 
Again, the purpose of the weekend, is to do things that will help with your own personal development. Building Confidence, Motivation, a Desire to succeed, Letting go of negative beliefs etc, which will then help contribute towards your desired outcomes of the year, weight loss, more confidence etc 
I’m sure this will be better than the 2 previous weekends we have done, and I am really looking forward to it
